A STREET AND ORPHAN CHILDREN MINISTRY

The story of involvement with this Children’s ministry.

PURBA, (SHE IS OUR FIRST KID WHO INSPIRED US TO DO MORE FOR KIDS)
2
In 2011, It was the first day of my college life at Notre Dame College, Dhaka, Bangladesh. I
was on my way to college when I came across a horrific sight at the railway station. I saw a
kid’s crowd, and I was curious about it, I went to them. I found a six-month-old baby crying
on the rail line, I asked all the children what happened and they replied to me “Her parents
through her here and they flew with another train. She is crying now and hungry, we are
feeding her these tomatoes.” Others people/Witnesses nearby told me that her parents had
thrown her onto the railway tracks and fled. Can you imagine? Still, it is happening!
She was crying because of hunger and being bitten by ants. I couldn’t believe my eyes. I
immediately picked up the crying baby and took
her to my college Campus. Then we found a
temporary shelter for the kids (Notre Dame
College, Clinic) the College authority also worked
hard for the kid. It was a big story of struggle that
I faced. We decided to take care of the child
ourselves, as we couldn’t leave her in such a
helpless condition.

My best friend and classmate Reng Young Mro
named her Purba. And we spent the whole day
taking care of her. We cleaned her up, fed her,
brought some dresses, and made sure she was
comfortable. However, we knew we couldn’t keep
her with us for long, so we began the search for a
family that could adopt her.
Thankfully, we found a family that was willing to
adopt Purba. They were overjoyed to have her, and we knew that she would finally have the
loving family she deserved.
Now, twelve years later, Purba is a happy and healthy girl. She is thriving in her new family
and has become a bright and confident young girl. But unfortunately, there are many more
children like Purba who are in need of help.

Since 2011, our team has been working tirelessly to rescue parentless children who are living
in terrible conditions. We have rescued more than 37 children who are sleeping on the
ground, with no food, no bed, no shower, and no future. Young girls are especially in danger
due to sexual abuse, and many of them are sold by traffickers.
We are requesting your help to join us in our mission to rescue these children and provide
them with a better life. We believe that every child deserves to have a loving family and a
bright future, and we know that with your help, we can make a real difference in their lives.
Let us come together to help these children, and remember that they too need Jesus as their
father.
The Kids’ dangerous zone
The Kamlapur railway station is a place where many of these children gather. They are
abandoned, orphaned, or have lost their families, and are forced to live on the streets. They
have no access to basic necessities such as food, water, and shelter, and often face the danger
of being exploited by traffickers.
Our team is committed to making a difference in the lives of these children. We work
tirelessly to provide them with the support and assistance they need. We rescue them from
the streets, offer them basic necessities such as food, water, and shelter, and provide them
with education and vocational training to help them build a better future.
We cannot do this alone. We need your help and support to continue our work. By making a
donation, you can help us provide these children with the support they need to survive and
thrive. Your donation will help us provide food, shelter, education, and other basic
necessities to these children.
Now we are working in 2 different countries, Bangladesh and the Philippines.
Please join us in making a difference in the lives of these children. Together, we can help
them overcome their difficult circumstances and build a brighter future.
